Description

The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a LLB Degree or any other Legal Degree with at least four (4) years related experience in a legal environment. Must be an admitted Attorney or Advocate. Experience in a municipal environment will serve as a recommendation. Must be computer literate. Valid Code B driver’s license. HOUSING DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Description

Requirements: The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a Senior Certificate (certified copy (proof) must be attached to the application form) with 3 years’ proven administrative experience in a municipal environment. Applicants with project management experience or experience in a housing environment will serve as a recommendation. A valid driver’s license. Be able to handle conflict. Must be computer literate. Excellent facilitation skills are essential. Good communication skills in at least two (2) of the three official languages of the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. The incumbent will be required to perform duties at the Greyton and Genadendal office on a weekly basis, as well as any other town within the Theewaterskloof Municipal area if and when there is an operational need.

Minimum Requirements: The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate with at least 3 – 4 years’ experience in a civil / construction environment. Applicants must have supervisory skills. Be able to plan and schedule maintenance programmes. The eligible candidate must also be able to discipline subordinates. A valid driver’s license. HOUSING QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER

Description

The most eligible candidate must be in possession of an NQF5 (Technical “Artisan” qualification in concrete, bricklaying, carpentry or within the building industry) with three (3) years’ relevant experience in a housing or similar environment such as Construction Management Building; Building; Quantity Surveying and Architecture. Applicants must have the ability to read building plans and ensure that building works occur within the guidelines of the National Building Regulations and Standards Act, as well as the Health and Safety Act and the Norms and Standards of the National Housing Code. Be computer literate and have a valid Code B driver’s license. Be fluent in at least 2 of the 3 regional languages namely Afrikaans, English and Xhosa).
