Description

In order to meet the needs of the Theewaterskloof Municipality, the successful applicant will conform to the following: • At least a
B Degree or a relevant qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework at a NQF level 7 with a minimum of 360 credits • 5 years’
experience at middle management level. Compliance with Minimum Competency Regulations for Senior Managers of municipalities as is provided
for in Regulation 493 dated 15 June 2007 within 18 months of being appointed. Competency as required in terms of the General Machinery
Regulations, 1988 and Registration with a recognized relevant Engineering professional body will be an added advantage.

2 X SENIOR TRAFFIC OFFICERS (INSPECTOR - TRAFFIC LAW ENFORCEMENT)

Description

Requirements: The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a Grade 12 plus a Traffic Officer Diploma plus a Higher Certificate (NQF – Level 5) relevant to the position with 4 years’ experience. A valid code EB driver’s License. A valid Training Certificate issued by a person registered in terms of the South African Qualifications Authority Act, Act 58/1995 read with the Skills Development Act, Act 97/1998 and who is accredited with POSLEC SETA as a service provider to provide training in the safe use and handling of firearms. No Criminal Record (Important – A valid SAPS Clearance Certificate or proof of application of clearance certificate must accompany your application – Applicants must provide a valid police clearance certificate not older than 6 months on the day of the interview – applicants who do not provide the valid clearance certificate on the day of the interview will automatically be disqualified.) Be able to act consequently and firmly. Must be trustworthy with a high level of integrity together with the ability to handle conflict, stress and work under pressure. Good communication skills in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa.

FOREMAN STREETS AND STORM WATER – VILLIERSDORP

Description

The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate (proof must be attached to the application form). Three (3) to four (4) years relevant experience (experience must be clearly experience stated in the application form). A valid Code EB driver’s license with a valid PRDP (proof of driver’s license and valid PRDP must be attached to the application form). Effective communication skills in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. Must be willing to work overtime and do standby duty from time to time. A driving proficiency test will also be conducted with the recommended candidate as part of the interview process.

MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE: DRIVERS LICENSE TEST CENTRE (DLTC) - RIVIERSONDEREND

Description

The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a Gr.12 Certificate and Examiner of Driving License Diploma. Applicants must be registered as an Examiner of Driving Licenses (Grade B) and in possession of a valid Code EC Driver’s License. Must be trained and have a full understanding of the latest Procedure Manual for NaTIS Operators. Must have sound knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act, Act 93/1996. Must be computer literate and be able to communicate in at least 2 (two) of the 3 (three) official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. No Criminal Record (Important – a valid SAPS Clearance Certificate or proof of application for a SAPS Clearance Certificate must accompany your application. Description

The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a Senior Certificate with mathematics or accountancy as one of the subjects. Applicants must have excellent administrative skills. Two (2) years’ experience in a stock control environment (experience must be clearly stated in the application form). Must be computer literate. A valid driver’s license. Must be able to communicate in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa.
